En seis cuadernos de notas se despliega una colección de dibujos y bocetos de imágenes históricas que alguna vez representaron el mundo. Estas imágenes incluyen la cosmogonía hindú de la Tierra sostenida por elefantes sobre una tortuga gigante y la representación del cielo y la tierra en el antiguo Egipto, entre muchas otras. Junto a estos cuadernos, se dispone un globo terráqueo que ha sido vaciado de todo contenido gráfico, reemplazado por una superficie espejada que solo devuelve el reflejo de su entorno.
Collections of the Imaginary II
Six notebooks expose a collection of drawings and sketches of historical images that once represented the world. Images include the Hindu cosmogony of the Earth held by elephants on a giant turtle, or the representation of the sky and the Earth in ancient Egypt, among many others. Next to these notebooks, a mirrored Earth’s globe is displayed. With no graphic elements to show, the sphere only returns the reflection of its surroundings.
